The public is invited to come celebrate spring at the Third Annual Free Community Easter Egg Hunt and Costume Parade in Memory Grove Park in Salt Lake Cityon Saturday April 4th at 11:00 a.m.
Fair warning: things move quickly — and that's half the fun. The egg hunt kicks off at exactly 11:15 AM, and baskets fill up fast. Plan to arrive early so you don't miss a single moment. Hunts are organized by age group, so every child gets a fair shot at the good stuff:

🥚 1st–3rd Grade
🥚 4th–6th Grade
🥚 Older Ages
Once the last egg is claimed, we head straight into the Costume Parade and Contest! Show off your most creative, colorful, and egg-citing look as you stroll through the park. Families, friends, and furry companions are all welcome to join the parade, and prizes will be awarded to the most imaginative outfits.
Between the excitement, take time to explore the park's rich history with free public tours of Memory Grove's monuments, Memorial House, and the Meditation Chapel. There's so much to discover right in our own backyard.
All are welcome — just don't be late. The fun starts at 11:15 AM sharp, and it waits for no one!

The Wheeler Winter Market is held on Sundays from now through April 12th: 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. at the Wheeler Historic Farm in Murray.

Artist Jim Mangan will discuss his photographic series "The Crick" in the Russell/ Wanlass performance hall on the USU Logan campus on Friday, April 9th at 5:30, with a reception to follow.

Artist Jim Mangan will discuss The Crick, his photographic series documenting FLDS young men along the Utah-Arizona border town of Short Creek, followed by a conversation with writer Judith Freeman and Short Creek community member Roman Bateman about how Mangan’s photography and Freeman’s written storytelling illuminate both realities and imagined stories of this marginalized part of the contemporary American West.

The O-Sho Trail Series is a three-part 5K fun(d) run along the iconic Bonneville Shoreline Trail, designed for beginner and novice trail runners to build community and support local trail maintenance. Races take place April 9, June 4, and September 17 at 6:15 PM from the 27th Street Trailhead in Ogden. All proceeds go back to improving and maintaining the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.

Preservation Utah opens the Meditation Chapel in Memory Grove, Salt Lake City for tours on the second Friday and fourth Saturday of each month, from April through October, and for special events and holidays. This is a walk-up tour; registration is not required.

The tour will take you through the chapel's interior (a charming, small room) but does not include a guided tour of the rest of the park’s monuments.
Green River Rocks festival takes place April 10th through 12th at the Green River Epicenter from 2:00- 7:00 p.m.
Green River Rocks is a free festival celebrating the geology, paleontology, and archaeology of Southeastern Utah held annually at the John Wesley Powell Museum in Green River, Utah. Come for the expert-led field trips, rockhounding opportunities, artisan market, and much more!
