For two years during her undergraduate career, she worked at Cache Valley's local newspaper, where she developed a love for local journalism covering government, business, and features.
Clarissa also writes creative non-fiction inspired by the environment and will be pursuing a master's degree in creative writing at USU beginning this fall. When she isn't writing, she is birding.
