Nonprofits doing good in our communities on Access Utah

Today we’re doing another non-profit spotlight. We will hear from various representatives from local non-profits such as Amy Anderson of Sunshine Hospice and Isaiah Jones with USU's Inclusive Excellence program.

Logan StoryCorps: Better because of church community

A move from California to Colorado would bring on big changes for Scott Jensen and his mother Beth Hatch. During their conversation in the mobile StoryCorps booth in Logan, Utah, the mother and son recall the coming together of a church community when their father and husband was killed in an airplane accident.

Today we’re doing another non-profit spotlight. There are many needs in our communities and many step up to help. We’d love to shine a light on your favorite non-profit or individual doing good in your community. Amy Anderson, Spiritual Counselor with Sunshine Hospice in Logan and Regional Coordinator for A Bolder Way Forward will join us for the hour and we’ll hear from representatives of other nonprofits throughout the hour. And we hope to hear from you!
