Utah Law Enforcement Agencies To Add Overtime Shifts On Super Bowl Sunday

Utah law enforcement agencies will increase DUI patrol shifts on Super Bowl Sunday in an effort to clamp down on impaired driving. A news release from the Utah Department of Public Safety stated that Utah’s law enforcement officers will be working more than 75 DUI overtime shifts to “deter, detect and stop impaired drivers.”

The UDPS encourages Utahns to buckle up, drive sober (or assign designated drivers if you plan to consume alcohol) and follow COVID-19 guidelines.
