Make Sure To Send In Your Primary Ballots

Mail-in ballots must be postmarked Monday for those that are wanting to participate in mayoral and city council elections.

Residents who have registered to vote by July 30 should have already received ballots in the mail.  If not, election officials urge you to contact your county clerk’s office.

Twenty-three cities have chosen to forgo the primary election process and use ranked-choice voting instead in the general election in November.

Cities that have chosen to use ranked choice voting include South Salt Lake, Magna, Bluffdale, Draper, Lehi, Payson, Riverton, Springville, Vineyard, Goshen, Newton, Woodland Hills, Genola, Sandy, Nibley, Millcreek, Moab, River Heights, Cottonwood Heights, Elk Ridge, Salt Lake City, Midvale and Heber City.
