Navajo Nation Reports 63 More COVID Cases, 1 More Death

The Navajo Nation has reported 63 more COVID-19 cases and one additional death.According to the latest numbers released Saturday, the tribe’s total number of confirmed cases has been pushed to 33,513 and there are 1,429 known deaths from the virus since the pandemic began. 

 

Navajo officials are urging people to get vaccinated, wear masks while in public and minimize their traveling. 

 

Officials say Navajo Nation executive branch employees will need to be fully vaccinated by the end of September or submit to regular testing.
