NASA’s Space Launch System rocket, with twin Northrop Grumman solid rocket boosters, lifts off for the first Artemis program launch.

Following several delays from technical issues and bad weather, NASA’s Artemis I rocket finally launched Tuesday.

On board this mission were two of the world’s largest rocket boosters, manufactured at Northrop Grumman’s facility in Northern Utah.

The launch is the first in a series of missions that will ultimately launch and land the first woman on the moon and explore the possibility of establishing a sustainable human presence there.

While she is happy to report on anything from dance concerts to laughter practice, her main focus at UPR is political reporting. She is studying Journalism and Political Science at Utah State University and wants to work in political communication after she graduates.
