Logan Ban On Plastic Bags Postponed — Again Due To Pandemic

The city of Logan’s ban on plastic bags has been postponed for the third time, now twice deferred during the COVID-19 pandemic. In a unanimous vote at Tuesday's virtual meeting, the Logan Municipal Council voted to defer implementation on the ban until Jan. 1, 2022, to both give the Solid Waste Advisory Board time to revisit a countywide plastic reduction plan and to protect stores from potential contamination and fees during the pandemic. Read the rest of the story on HJnews.com.
