The Utah Department Of Transportation released a statement on Thursday, detailing the top road projects on its agenda through 2022. According to the release, the agency will work on 185 projects across the state at a total cost of $3.45 billion. UDOT said as construction ramps up, it’s doing everything it can to minimize the inconvenience to the public. However, UDOT’s Region 2 director Robert Steward said there will inevitably be impacts, restrictions and delays.
The department listed many projects including on-going work on I-15 in Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, and Utah counties, construction of three interchanges at key intersections along the Bangerter Highway, as well as the continuation of numerous pavement renewal and road widening projects across the state.
