As Utah Public Radio plans for the future, we understand the importance of creating opportunities for university students, especially those who attend Utah State University – home of UPR. USU is committed to helping students reach their full potential to excel in their chosen career paths, and we at Utah Public Radio want to support that goal. Our extensive internship program has and will provide opportunities to those interested in journalism.
Today is Utah State University’s annual Day of Giving. For 24 hours, this fundraising event calls on alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, families, and friends to come together. We invite you to join in supporting USU and the positive impacts it has made in your life, our state, the nation, and the world.
We want to expand our internship program so we may give more opportunities to eager university students wanting professional experience.
Your support of Utah State University and Utah Public Radio on September 27, 2019 will go directly to growing our internship program, thereby creating opportunities for future journalists and communicators we will depend on. Students will study and create news, sound production, audio storytelling and community affairs programming. UPR is a training ground for tomorrow’s media and we hope this cause merits a financial contribution from you.
