Today, Utah State Senate President J. Stuart Adams announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies. In a statement, Adams said he did not experience any symptoms of the virus.
The positive test results indicate that he likely had the virus at some point over the past few months. But, Adams cautions that the antibody test is not 100% accurate. Adam plans to donate plasma for COVID-19 research, if he is eligible. He said that he’s been social distancing and wearing a face mask. And encourages Utahns to do the same to prevent unintentionally infecting others. Especially those with underlying medical conditions.
