2 Utah Schools Move To Remote Learning After Virus Outbreaks

Two Utah schools have halted in-person classes and shifted to online learning after coronavirus outbreaks during the first weeks of the school year.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the American Preparatory Academy charter school closed a campus in Draper on Tuesday after 15 students and staffers tested positive for COVID-19. That followed Monday’s announcement by Alpine School District that it was closing Pleasant Grove High School near Orem for two days over a cluster of coronavirus cases. Utah schools began reopening last month with a mix of in-person classes and online learning.
