According to Rocky Mountain Power, more than 2,200 of its customers in Salt Lake, Davis and Weber counties are without electricity.RMP’s website says some of the outages are related to the strong winds blowing throughout the state, which has resulted in damaged equipment.
Most of the power outages are expected to be taken care of by 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, but RMP said restoring the power in some areas could take a few hours longer.
