Jeannie Thomas is a folklorist, USU English Professor and co-director of the USU Digital Folklore Project. She teaches a class called Magic and Monsters. Included in that class is a section on love magic. On this Valentine’s Day we’ll talk about love spells, heartbreak rituals, a study about fruit flies and breakups, and anthropologist Helen Fisher’s studies on what happens to our brains when we fall in love.
