A Utah television station has conducted a survey suggesting that most of the state’s students could return to school in-person this fall. KUTV-TV queried five districts about how many of their students planned on taking online courses.
The numbers reported are not final because thousands of students must still register. Ogden School District says about 9% of its students are currently enrolled online. Alpine School District is the state's largest and says about 12% of its secondary school students have chosen the online option. Jordan, Granite and Canyons School Districts says about 20% of students will study online in some form.
