Lt. Gov. Participates In Town Hall As Part Of International Women's Day
In honor of International Women’s Day, Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson is calling on Utahns to join her in “choosing to challenge” for women’s equality.
A press release from Henderson’s office states that women are needed as leaders in the state not “simply as experts on women’s issues,” but “because their voices are necessary to improve our state, our country, and our world.”
As part of this commitment, Henderson participated in a town hall on Monday hosted by the World Trade Center, the Salt Lake Chamber, and the Women’s Business Center of Utah.
