According to a report from KUTV, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ temples in Salt Lake City and Manti will no longer offer room-to-room presentations by live actors during endowment sessions. The Church says this change will allow for more sessions to be held per day and it hopes the changes will “help more members feel confident to serve” without the requirement for “lengthy memorization.” In addition, the Church says it will allow members who don’t speak English to have a more meaningful temple experience.
