Cache Valley Man Dead After Accident Involving ‘Crushing Injuries’ From Farm Equipment

A 35-year-old Newton man is dead after being run over by farm equipment, according to a press release from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office.

On Thursday around 5 p.m., dispatch received a call regarding an accident at 574 W. 6800 North in Cache County.

 

Lt. Doyle Peck wrote that two men were working on the equipment with the engine running and a parking brake applied. One of the men had his 3-year-old child in the cab of the machine while they worked underneath. Read the rest of the story on HJnews.com.
