Navajo Nation Reports 36 More COVID-19 Cases, 3 More Deaths

On Sunday, the Navajo Nation reported 36 more cases of COVID-19 and three more deaths.The latest numbers pushed the tribe's totals to 33,780 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began. The known total number of deaths has reached 1,442.

 

On Friday, there were 40 new cases and two deaths, while on Saturday, there were 22 cases and no deaths.

 

Nation officials are urging people to get vaccinated, wear masks in public and minimize their travel as much as possible. All Navajo Nation branch employees will need to be fully vaccinated by the end of this month or submit to regular testing.
