USU sees majority of students vaccinated following spring 2022 vaccination requirement

USU announced in August 2021 that students were required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 for the spring 2022 semester. Students have had to submit their declaration of vaccination status in order to enroll for spring classes. As of the end of November 92% of students have completed their declarations. As of the last tally, 87% of students on the Logan campus, 70% of students at USU Eastern and 86% of students at USU Blanding are vaccinated. Around 13% of students across all USU campuses have taken a vaccine exemption for medical, religious, or personal reasons.
