This family-friendly, educational event brings together incredible rocks, minerals, gems, crystals, and fossils from knowledgeable vendors and collectors, all under one roof. In honor of Mother’s Day, the first 100 moms through the doors will receive a special Mother’s Day gift, and children can create a meaningful pendant just for mom a keepsake made with love and creativity.Enjoy hands-on children’s activities, engaging educational displays, and a welcoming atmosphere designed to inspire curiosity and connection. With extended evening hours, it’s easy to stop by after work, browse at your own pace, and find something truly unique. Whether you are shopping for Mother’s Day, exploring geology, or spending quality time together as a family, the Crystal Festival in Hurricane offers something special for everyone.
The public is invited to the Logan Library Community Rooms on May 9 from 1-6 PM for a Community Clothing Swap.
Refresh your wardrobe and give your outgrown clothes new life at this free event open to all! Come get what you need (regardless of whether you brought any items to drop off)You can drop off clothes at the event or the day before (Friday, May 8 ) between 10 AM and 6 PM in Community Room B. Please bring washed and in good condition clothes, and take a moment to sort your clothes if you can (kids' clothes, pants, shirts, etc.).

Five local artists are hosting open studios for this spring’s Cache Studio Art tour Friday May 15 from noon until 7:00 and Saturday May 16 from 10 until 7:00d. Artists will be available to talk about their art process and inspiration, and they will have their artwork on display and available for sale. Items include pottery, glass, jewelry, fiber arts (finished items and craft kits), painting, cards, and more.
This year’s participating studios are K and Kerri Rasmussen, Rasmussen Pottery Backyard Studio (Hyrum); Lori Nawyn, Huckleberry Moose (Hyrum); Cindy Roberts, Cody Sky Fine Arts (downtown Logan); Carole Warburton, Juniper Moon Artisans Market (Paradise); and Dana Worley Fused Glass Designs (North Logan).
The studio tour is being held Friday and Saturday, May 15 & 16. Studio hours are 12 PM to 7 PM Friday and 10 AM to 7 PM on Saturday.
