Today a conversation with Sen. Brent Hill about civil discourse. Brent Hill is the Next Generation Program Director for the National Institute for Civil Discourse. He’ll be talking with Neil Abercrombie, USU Vice President for Government Relations, in an event at the David B. Haight Center on the USU campus on Monday at 4:00 p.m.
Brent Hill retired from the state legislature in 2020 after serving 19 years in the Idaho State Senate, 10 years as President Pro Tempore, the highest-ranking member of the Idaho State Senate. He is an Aggie who earned a bachelor's in accounting. He frequently contributes to newspapers and other publications and is the author of the book A Matter of Principle, which explores the fundamental ideals that guided America’s founders.This event is co-sponsored by Aggies Think Care Act and the USU Institute for Government and Politics.
