Luminous Ecologies by Meredith Connelly will transform the plaza into an immersive environment of light, movement, and interconnected life systems. Featuring the illuminated installations Water, Mushrooms, and Snails, the exhibition explores ecology, mythology, and the delicate relationships that sustain the natural world.

Through sculptural forms and shifting light, Connelly invites viewers to reflect on water as a life-giving force, the hidden intelligence of fungi, and the quiet organisms that maintain ecological balance all around us.

The natural History museum of Utah in Salt Lake City presents the exhibit Bug World from Saturday February 14th to Monday September 7th. Museum hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

See How They Run is a classic British farce, packed with mistaken identities, unexpected visitors, and nonstop chaos. Set in a quiet English vicarage during WWII, the play spirals into comedic mayhem as a soldier, a German POW, a Russian spy, and multiple clergymen, converge on the house. Written to boost morale during wartime, this fast-paced comedy delivers delightful confusion and wild fun for audiences of all ages.

A free 4-session workshop introduces Mind-Body Bridging®, an evidence-based approach that helps reduce stress, build resilience, and improve overall well-being. The third session of the workshop series is on Monday August 24th at 6:00 p.m. and is held online.

Participants will learn practical tools to increase self-awareness, manage stress more effectively, and develop skills that support resilience in everyday life.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival presents Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida playing on Mondays and Thurdays at 8:00 p.m. through September 3rd in the Engelstad Shakespeare Theater in Cedar City.

Something Rotten! is a hilarious, high-energy musical that reimagines Shakespeare’s world with a modern twist. Set in the Renaissance, it follows struggling playwrights Nick and Nigel Bottom, who try to outshine wildly popular William Shakespeare by creating the world’s first musical. Packed with show-stopping numbers, outrageous comedy, and clever nods to Broadway and the Bard, Something Rotten! is a joyful celebration of creativity, ambition, and the absurdity of the theatre world.

A jazz jam for learners will be held on Tuesdays from August 18th to December 15th at AMP in Salt Lake City from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

AMP Learner's Jazz Jam is a free community program for teen and adult musicians looking to build confidence playing jazz in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Designed as a bridge between private lessons, school ensembles, and traditional jazz jam sessions, each gathering begins with a guided workshop on a jazz standard before participants put new concepts into practice alongside professional jazz mentors in a coached jam.

The Learner's Jazz Jam is open to musicians with a basic familiarity with jazz who are ready to expand their repertoire, improvisation, and ensemble skills. No registration or tuition is required—just bring your instrument and join us.
