Yoram Bauman is the world’s first and only stand-up economist. He is co-author of the “Cartoon Introduction to Climate Change” and the two volume “Cartoon Introduction to Economics,” and the 1998 book “Tax Shift,” which helped inspire the revenue-neutral carbon tax in British Columbia. Yoram Bauman lives in Salt Lake City and takes his comedy act to colleges and universities around the world. He has a PhD in economics from the University of Washington.

He’ll be giving a presentation “Comedy, Economics, and Climate Change” for the Citizens’ Climate Lobby on Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Brunner Hall (200 West Center Street in Logan). The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
