Curators, writers, musicians, and filmmakers will be on hand for an intimate, inspirational look at the remarkable ecological recovery that’s currently underway in Glen Canyon, even as climate change and drought drain Lake Powell to record lows. Award winning author Craig Childs presents Blood River, with collaborator Greg Istock, a wildly creative musician of the American Desert music genre. Childs, a musician as well, and Istock artfully deliver a thought-provoking multimedia performance about the human relationship with nature.

The Cache Valley Gardeners' Market kicks off its 2024 season this Mothers' Day weekend, May 11th! Cache Valley Gardeners' Market is the second oldest market in the state. On Saturdays from May (11th) till October (19th) you'll find the freshest locally grown produce, yummy hot food, jamming live music, and artisan made crafts and treasures. We hope to see you there from 9:00 - 1:00 at the Historic Cache County Courthouse. Plenty of parking on the West side.
Farmers market every Saturday starting Mother's Day weekend and ending mid October. We feature local produce, artisans, and crafters and hot and cold take away food booths. There is live music every Saturday and special events throughout the season.

PYGmalion Productions does theatre that gives voice to women. They do a variety of workshops – including playmaking, puppet-making, storytelling, and story-making that are appropriate for audiences of all ages, conducted by seasoned, professional actors.
Saturday, May 11, the “Glen Canyon Rises” tour brings together film, discussion, photography, and music to showcase Lake Powell’s complex and surprisingtransformation. Journalist and author Zak Podmore draws from his forthcoming book Life After Dead Pool: Lake Powell’s Last Days and the Rebirth of the Colorado River. Photographer and filmmaker Dawn Kish screens, Tad’s Emerging World: Glen Canyon Exposed, a unique perspective of change in Glen Canyon. And, award-winning songwriter, Jackson Emmer, performs original Colorado River songs, some of which were written on his first trip to Lake Powell in 2023.
