The Cache Valley Gardeners Market takes place Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Historic Courthouse in downtown Logan at 199 North Main Street. The market will feature a Meet the Candidates event September 26 where you can get to know the candidates for this year's local election.

Santa Clara Swiss Days is around the corner. It is at 2603 Santa Clara Drive. It runs from Thursday September 24th through Saturday September 26th from 9:00AM to 11:59PM each day. They will have a Swiss Days 5K, as well as continuous live entertainment including a Friday night concert, local food and merchandise vendors, pioneer activities at Heritage Square, family-friendly games, and will have a Red Rock Car Show at Canyon View Park.

Ogden Farmers Market is open for the fall season on Saturdays September 26th through October 17th from 9AM-2PM at Historic 25th Street in Ogden, Utah. Fall Market by Farmers Market Ogden celebrates the harvest season with a rich pattern of autumn colors and flavors. As the air turns crisp, the 300 block of Historic 25th Street welcomes 100+ local farmers, food producers, and artisans bringing seasonal specialties like pumpkins, squashes, and freshly pressed cider.

Festival City Farmers Market is open for the summer season on Saturdays at 9AM-1PM from May to October at 100 West University Blvd in Cedar City. The Market has been gathering farmers, artisans, bakers, and musicians in the heart of Cedar City every Saturday for the past 15 years. From local farmers to bakers to artisans, they carefully curate a weekly lineup of vendors who offer unique products and services, ensuring every booth at Festival City Farmers Market is a standout.

Ashley Valley Farmers Market is open on Saturdays, July 11th to October 3rd from 9:00AM to 1:00PM at 225 East Main Vernal, Utah. In 2026, the Ashley Valley Farmers Market marks its 19th year! While the market has evolved over the years, it remains true to its original mission: offering locally grown produce, handcrafted artisan goods, and delicious locally prepared foods. They invite everyone to visit, explore, and become part of their vibrant market community.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Utah would like to invite the public to join the Warm Welcome Winter Clothing Drive through October 17th. Volunteer opportunities are available. Donations can be shipped or dropped off to the office in West Valley City.

By donating clean, new or like-new winter clothing, you are supporting newly arrived refugee families as they work hard to achieve self-sufficiency in their new home.

We will be accepting winter clothing donations such as
- Coats and jackets
- Winter boots
- Hats
- Waterproof gloves

Donations are accepted from September 1 through October 16. Items must be in new or like-new condition. We can accept all sizes, but our highest need for coats and jackets is adult sizes. We may also accept other items, like scarves, wool socks, and store gift cards.

You can order donations to ship directly to us, or sign up to drop them off at our office in West Valley City. Our staff members can offer you a tax-deductible donation receipt upon request.

You can also help out by volunteering during our distribution weekend! Volunteers are needed to sort and set up donations, help our clients shop for items, and clean up after the drive is over. Volunteer opportunities are available October 15, 16, and 17.

The Sherry Black Foundation presents a one day conference designed to provide families resources and emerging technologies for finding answers and justices on missing and unsolved cases. The conference will be held in the Miller Free Enterprise Center at Salt Lake Community College on Saturday September 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

No victim should be forgotten. No family should wait alone. No case should be limited by resources.

Join the Sherry Black Foundation — a nationally-recognized nonprofit with almost a decade of experience in helping families solve cold cases — and many partners for a one-day-long conference designed to provide families with the expertise, emerging technology, and resources needed to find answers and justice.

The conference will offer:

- Resources for families to take action, file or augment reports, and follow-up on missing and unsolved cases. (Identifying information such as photographs, state-issued IDs, and any available medical and dental records should be brought. DNA can be collected from any close relative to supplement the case file.)
- Time and exclusive assistance on your case from local partners, including: The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC); NamUs, a national information clearinghouse and resource center for missing, unidentified, and unclaimed person cases around the nation; Utah Department of Public Safety; Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification; Utah Office of the Medical Examiner and its public information office; Utah Department of Public Safety - Public Information Office; other law enforcement, victim advocacy, forensic, and technology partners

This event is intended to be a caring, family-centered space for those impacted by unresolved cases, along with advocates and organizations that provide direct support. To protect the privacy and purpose of the gathering, we ask that attendees attend only if they are personally connected to a case, supporting someone who is, or representing an organization that serves affected families. This event is not intended for true crime entertainment, hobbyist interest, or general criminology curiosity.
