The Brigham City Library Humanities Book Group will meet to discuss “The Last Ridge” by McKay Jenkins on Thursday, 6 Aug 2026 at 7 p.m. Austin Petersen, Weber State University, will lead the discussion. Copies of the book may be picked up at the circulation desk of the Brigham City Library, 26 E. Forest Street, while supplies last. The discussion will take place live at the Brigham City Library. Luminous Ecologies by Meredith Connelly will transform the plaza into an immersive environment of light, movement, and interconnected life systems. Featuring the illuminated installations Water, Mushrooms, and Snails, the exhibition explores ecology, mythology, and the delicate relationships that sustain the natural world.
Through sculptural forms and shifting light, Connelly invites viewers to reflect on water as a life-giving force, the hidden intelligence of fungi, and the quiet organisms that maintain ecological balance all around us.

The natural History museum of Utah in Salt Lake City presents the exhibit Bug World from Saturday February 14th to Monday September 7th. Museum hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The 2026 season of Friday Night Live is at Laub Plaza in downtown Logan, offering a series of free, family-friendly evenings for the Logan community. Neighbors and visitors are invited to gather at 55 North Main every other Friday for live performances and community connection.

Bring your ukulele and a pencil, and get ready to play along with fellow music lovers. Other instruments are welcome, too. This program is designed for adults, but children ages 10 and up may attend with a guardian.
