Cache Theatre Company Presents "Come From Away" A New Musical. This runs from September 11th to the 26th and has showings starting 7:00PM every day except on Sunday. Additional matinees are on Saturdays at 1:00PM.

This powerful true story follows the people of Gander, Newfoundland, who welcomed thousands of stranded travelers after September 11, 2001, demonstrating the extraordinary impact of generosity, compassion, and community.

TEDx Salt Lake City hosts its annual event on Saturday September 26th at 7:00 p.m. in the Capital Theater. Theme explores the Art and science of unexpected discoveries as "serendipity, hacked".

To kill a mockingbird is playing in the Parker theater in South Salt Lake on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. with a Saturday matinee at 3:30 p.m.

Harper Lee’s masterwork comes to life in this powerful adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird. Set in the racially charged Deep South of the 1930s, this gripping drama follows young Scout Finch as she witnesses her father, Atticus Finch, take a stand for justice in a world steeped in prejudice. Through Scout’s eyes, we explore themes of morality, empathy, and the loss of innocence as Atticus defends a Black man falsely accused of a terrible crime. Luminous Ecologies by Meredith Connelly will transform the Dumke Arts Plaza in Ogden into an immersive environment of light, movement, and interconnected life systems May 15 at 8:00 p.m. through October 15th.

Luminous Ecologies by Meredith Connelly will transform the plaza into an immersive environment of light, movement, and interconnected life systems. Featuring the illuminated installations Water, Mushrooms, and Snails, the exhibition explores ecology, mythology, and the delicate relationships that sustain the natural world.

Through sculptural forms and shifting light, Connelly invites viewers to reflect on water as a life-giving force, the hidden intelligence of fungi, and the quiet organisms that maintain ecological balance all around us.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival presents Mary Shelly's Frankenstein playing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in September and October at the Anes Studio Theatre in Cedar City. Showtimes are at 8:00 p.m. with 2:00 p.m. matinees on Fridays.

The Field of Fright at Glen Ray's in Spanish Fork presents a haunted attraction for Utah county with live actors on Fridays and Saturdays at 10:00 p.m. through October 30th.

Enter a darkened cornfield and abandoned farm town where the butcher, woodcutter, and restless souls of the farm are waiting.

Glen Ray’s presents southern Utah County’s only haunted attraction, complete with chilling performances by live actors in a real corn maze in an all-too-real field of fright.

Instead of waiting in a long line, wait for your prescheduled entry time at Glen Ray’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, included with your ticket, or grab a bite at our concessions!

The Field of Fright includes darkness, live actors, loud noises, fog effects, and sudden scares. Recommended for ages 12+.

The Kaysville scarecrow walk is September 26th through October 4th.

The Scarecrow Walk is going to kick off fall with a fun, family-friendly stroll through the USU Botanical Center! Each year, they partner with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to bring you a display of scarecrows hidden along their scenic paths. Visitors can witness the vibrant autumn colors in the Varga Arboretum and celebrate the harvest season in their demonstration gardens. Scarecrow Walk starts Saturday morning with the 3rd Annual Scarecrow 5K, hosted by the Farmington Rotary Club, at 9 AM. The official festivities, and scarecrow voting, begin at 10 AM! From September 26th to October 4th, this takes place at 80 E 725 S Kaysville at USU Botanical Center.

This exhibition runs Sept. 8-Oct. 2 in the Tippetts & Eccles Galleries. The galleries are open M–F from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Utah would like to invite the public to join the Warm Welcome Winter Clothing Drive through October 17th. Volunteer opportunities are available. Donations can be shipped or dropped off to the office in West Valley City.

By donating clean, new or like-new winter clothing, you are supporting newly arrived refugee families as they work hard to achieve self-sufficiency in their new home.

We will be accepting winter clothing donations such as
- Coats and jackets
- Winter boots
- Hats
- Waterproof gloves

Donations are accepted from September 1 through October 16. Items must be in new or like-new condition. We can accept all sizes, but our highest need for coats and jackets is adult sizes. We may also accept other items, like scarves, wool socks, and store gift cards.

You can order donations to ship directly to us, or sign up to drop them off at our office in West Valley City. Our staff members can offer you a tax-deductible donation receipt upon request.

You can also help out by volunteering during our distribution weekend! Volunteers are needed to sort and set up donations, help our clients shop for items, and clean up after the drive is over. Volunteer opportunities are available October 15, 16, and 17.

The Brigham City Museum of Art and history will hold an exhibition during the month of September honoring coach Earl Ferguson.

For 39 years, over a thousand students thrived to become better athletes under the guidance of Coach Earl Ferguson.

But how did Earl Ferguson become the Dean of Utah Coaches? What life lessons did he impart to his players? And how does this legacy continue to impact Box Elder High School?

Visit the museum during the month of September to see the exhibit, “The Ferguson Playbook: The Dean of Utah Coaches.” It will only be on display until Sepember 30th. Make sure to stop by and see it before it is gone!
