Fire season summary for Utah

Human Caused fires were up with currently 654 starts and last time we saw this number was in 2020.

450 or 38% of the fires were natural ignitions from lightning

Total areas burned so far within Utah for the year is 59,233 acres, down from an 11 year average of 128,693 acres
