There are 924 bird species known to be in the United States. The average county in Utah has approximately 295 species, but Washington County boasts 400 species.

Utah has now passed 600 confirmed measles cases since the outbreak began last June. The state is currently the epicenter of measles outbreaks in the U.S.

The project is meant to move groundwater to the Cedar City area, where officials say there's increased demand. Opponents, however, worry about the impact on farmers, wildlife, and future generations.
