Luminous Ecologies by Meredith Connelly will transform the plaza into an immersive environment of light, movement, and interconnected life systems. Featuring the illuminated installations Water, Mushrooms, and Snails, the exhibition explores ecology, mythology, and the delicate relationships that sustain the natural world.

Through sculptural forms and shifting light, Connelly invites viewers to reflect on water as a life-giving force, the hidden intelligence of fungi, and the quiet organisms that maintain ecological balance all around us.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival presents "See How They Run" playing on Mondays at 2:00 p.m., Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m., Thursdays at 2:00 p.m., and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. in August and September in the Randall L. Jones Theatre in Cedar City.

See How They Run is a classic British farce, packed with mistaken identities, unexpected visitors, and nonstop chaos. Set in a quiet English vicarage during WWII, the play spirals into comedic mayhem as a soldier, a German POW, a Russian spy, and multiple clergymen, converge on the house. Written to boost morale during wartime, this fast-paced comedy delivers delightful confusion and wild fun for audiences of all ages.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival presents Shakespeare's Hamlet playing on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. through September 4th in the Engelstad Shakespeare Theater in Cedar City.

Prince Hamlet seeks truth—and vengeance. Haunted by his father’s death and disillusioned by a corrupt court, he struggles with doubt, and the weight of his own inaction. As he plots revenge against his uncle, now king, Hamlet spirals deeper into isolation and existential crisis. Written at the height of Shakespeare’s genius, Hamlet is a gripping exploration of conscience, power, and how the burdens of the past shape the future in Shakespeare’s most haunting and psychologically rich tragedy.

The natural History museum of Utah in Salt Lake City presents the exhibit Bug World from Saturday February 14th to Monday September 7th. Museum hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You’ll never look at bugs the same way again! 

The Current Conditions exhibition with work by Kait Lennon, Cooper Lott, Ben Blackwood, Caileigh Davis, Tim Steinmann, JP Wackenstedt, Hunter Smith, Hannah Ostraff, and Rylee Richey. is at the ReadyMade Gallery in Logan Wednesday -Saturday from noon to 7:00 p.m.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival presents "Something Rotten!" playing on Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 p.m., and Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2:00 p.m in August, September, and October in the Randall L. Jones Theatre in Cedar City.

Something Rotten! is a hilarious, high-energy musical that reimagines Shakespeare’s world with a modern twist. Set in the Renaissance, it follows struggling playwrights Nick and Nigel Bottom, who try to outshine wildly popular William Shakespeare by creating the world’s first musical. Packed with show-stopping numbers, outrageous comedy, and clever nods to Broadway and the Bard, Something Rotten! is a joyful celebration of creativity, ambition, and the absurdity of the theatre world.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival presents Mary Shelly's Frankenstein playing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in August at the Anes Studio Theater in Cedar City. Showtimes are at 2:00 p.m.

Tour de La Caille: Farm to Table presents guests with five farm-focused courses specializing in fresh, local ingredients, and the devoted farmers and artisans behind them on Wednesday August 9th at 5:00 p.m.

The first course opens with gifts from the garden from Tagge’s Farm, featuring tomatoes and fresh basil paired perfectly with Caputo’s burrata. The second course highlights the richness of the forest floor with an earthy dish of mushroom duxelles, Romanesco, garlic puree, and micro greens provided by Wasatch Front Fungi. The third course offers trout belly tartare, cornichon, shallots, lemon aioli, chives, puffed trout skin, and trout pearls from Brigham City-based Whistling Springs Trout Farm. The fourth course is robust in flavor with a dry-aged tomahawk from Heritage Craft Butchers out of Orem. Seared with a Cognac flambe demi cream sauce, this medium-rare creation includes broccolini, potato pave, and spring onion. The meal concludes with a peach verrine dessert that echoes the abundance of the orchard and honey meringue. Cocktail and wine or mocktail pairings are available as an optional dining enhancement.

The 2026 season of the Alive After 5 concert series is at Laub Plaza in downtown Logan, offering a series of free, family-friendly evenings for the Logan community. Neighbors and visitors are invited to gather at 55 North Main every Wednesday for live performances and community connection.

Designed as a welcoming space for all ages, the event transforms the plaza into an open-air theater.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite blankets and low-back chairs to settle in for the show. The concerts begin at 7:00 PM in the heart of downtown Logan.
